In 2007th a team of Russian and Dutch artists painted walls of houses in one of the sleeping areas on the North of Moscow (Elk Island). These buildings have already stood there about fifty years. And all of them are to demolished in the near future and to replace with new buildings according to city program. However such programs in Moscow are usually realized very slowly and there is a chance that the houses will stand for a long time.
To create these pieces of street art, the painters were climbing on the scaffoldings and drawing the outlines. Then they were filled with the paint from the spray cans. By the way, this action was organized by one of the Moscow real estate agencies for the company birthday.

The graffiti groups having been taking part in the project: Pain Breakaz (Russia), Sabotage (Russia), Kwasten met de Gasten (Netherlands), David Orn Haldorson (Island), ZUKclub (Russia), Assume Vivid Astro Focus (Brazil/USA), More Dead Toys (Russia), 310 Squad (Russia), Influx Crew (Russia), Kwasten Met de Gasten (Netherlands). One can see in their art street works the influence by pop art style (especially by Roy Lichtenstein) and surrealism as well.
