Ideas and projects, people and companies that change our city. And certainly a bit about me ) »
Moscow Metropolitan is one of the biggest in the world. And the most beautiful. Maybe I've got used to it and just love it, but the Moscow underground seems to me the most convenient as well) Of course there's a lot of problems in our metro - too many people, old trains and so on. But only in Moscow tourists go down to the subway just to take a look at it.
If you are going to Moscow, you'll definitely need a metro map. Approximately the center of the city is limited with the metro ring. To enter down to the subway costs about $1.

And some history) The first line of Moscow metro was opened in 1935th. The constructing was under Stalin's personal control. A lot of volunteers was taking part in the process. It was very ambitious project for young Soviet state.
Now Moscow metro is one of the first remembered attractions of the city. It's a kind of national museum) My favorite stations - Ploshad Revolutsii, Novoslobodskaya and Komsomolyskaya. But to say the truth we are so accustomed to our subway that even cannot appreciate all of its majestic beauty. To have your personal metro tour you can just come down to any stations of the metro ring and make a full circle on the train. Don't forget to go out at the stops)
By the way on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line there are special trains that are designed with the aquarelle works from Russian Museum. It's very beautiful too)
