Russian Visa Application Form and Documents Required

To get a Russian visa you should provide to the consular office such a set of documents:

• Visa Support Document (it must be issued by a Russian tourist company registered by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the company is oblige to have a special reference number for invitation of tourists from abroad). You can apply your Russian visa invitation online online right now;
• Filled up Consulate Questionnaire;
• A picture 3cm x 4 cm attached to the questionnaire;
• The passport (valid for six months upon expiration of the visa expected).

The additional documents that can be required are:

• Medical insurance;
• Residence permit or work permit in the country where the foreign citizen intends to get a visa;
• HIV test (certificate);
• Cash Availability Confirmation.

A tourist visa to Russia cannot be prolonged.
