Today I post about my favorite Moscow art tour, Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art. It's located near the center of the city, convenient to get and it seems possible to spend all day going from one gallery or concept store to another. Now large exhibition space of Winzavod is occupated with the scale photo exhibition "The best of Russia 2009". Winzavod have been developing according to the classical model: the abandoned buildings of the former Moscow winery have been turned into a creative cluster.
Being inspired by world experience, we were hipped on building up first private art-territory in old Moscow industrial area to concentrate the best art resources of the city (galleries, studios, showrooms, art agencies) and to join people who made all the difference in contemporary art at the same place.

Despite the fact that Winzavod didn't become the first private property in Moscow, accumulating art resources, he became the most recognizable. Now it's really the key focus for the Moscow art scene objects. Among them are the oldest Regina Gallery, XL Gallery, Aidan Gallery and Marat Gelman Gallery, as well as younger Proun Gallery, Atelier #2 Gallery, Photographer.ru Gallery, Photoloft Gallery and ArtBerloga. If you are planning to walk to Winzavod don't forget that Mondays the galleries are closed.
